I came back to Hong Kong on 8 February, I saw Zimmern again. I met him outside Tak Cheung shop in Queen's Road Central
about a fortnight after my return. I met him occasionally
aga in. I cannot remember the dates.
One day he met me outside the Kings Theatre and requested
me to go to the 8.0.A. Association. I cannot remember the date
I went with him, when I watched accused playing billiards. Then Cheng Kwok Yau, Zimmern and myself went to the races. We came to Queen's Cafeteria in Cheng's car to dinner.
Cheng suggested going to the races and to the dinner. He
invited us and paid for the dinner.
After dinner we travelled in his car, and stopped at the To To Sin Restaurant in Des Voeux Rd.C. He told me to keep
an eye on the car and he went off with Zimmern. They were
away for about 15 minutes, on their return they drove to Yaumati Ferry Wharf where I got out and went over to Yaumati. The race meeting was the occasion on which 2 jockeys fell down
from their ponies.
X.X. At the S.C. A.Association accused was playing billiards and finally he said he wanted to leave. There was no formal
introduction. I spoke to accused while he was playing
billiards. I don't know how Zimmern
accused. I did not introduce them.
